Let's talk essential oils...
Essential oils are the pure form of oils distilled from mostly plants and herbs. They have a powerful effect on health through aromatherapy, as well as topical use. Some can be irritating to the skin and need to be cut by adding it to a carrier oil. Some carrier oils can be almond, jojoba, olive, apricot seed, and other oils. You need the pure essential oil for health benefits, nothing synthetic which can be harmful.

Some of my favorites are...Lavender, Sandalwood, Patchouli, and Vanilla. Tea Tree is a great medicinal oil used for so many thing! Go to a health food store to smell for your self. A scent that appeals to you will be good for you.
Lavender is a great oil for so many uses. I've made bath salts with it for a relaxing bath using Epsom salts as the base, but you can use sea salt or regular salt. Here are some recipes...

I even put two drops of a blend on a piece of paper towel and suck it into my vacuum before doing the house. Instant air freshener!
